The MyPetanque website offers you a number of functions. Some are only accessible if you have Joined MyPetanque and have an Account (or Profile). Others do not require you to have an Account. If you have any questions about the site that are not answered below, please contact us.

Can the Pick-Up List be turned off?

Yes. The person Managing the Tournament (putting the details up on MyPetanque in the first instance) can turn the Pick-Up List off by setting the maximum allowed number of Entries (Teams) to 0. This has the effect of removing the limit of Entires totally.

If you set the maximum allowed number of Entries as the Tournament is Added (or Edited) to a number greater than 0, then 3 things occur:

  1. The Pick-Up List appears in the View Entries screen
  2. Any Entry over and above this maximum (across all Divisions if more than 1 Division) is marked as a Reserve.
  3. The actual maxium number of Entries allowed appears in the preamble at the top of the page where Players register their Entries.
